The City of Johannesburg is inviting applications for the position of Administrative Assistant in the Social Development department under the Expanded Social Package (ESP). - Remuneration: R17 314,75 per month (stipend)
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification.
- Experience: At least 6 months of customer service experience.
- Skills:
- Basic computer literacy.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Assist the ESP Special Project Unit by providing comprehensive administrative support, including maintaining accurate records and resolving client queries.
- Query Resolution: Investigate and resolve non-receipt of ESP rebates reported by clients, Councilors, or Registration Clerks via phone, email, or other methods.
- Community Outreach: Promote the ESP program through outreach activities and encourage community members to register.
- Operational Support: Maintain daily contact with ESP sites to ensure operational status and log service requests with providers as needed.
- Data Management: Ensure the accuracy and cleanliness of the ESP database.
- General Office Support: Coordinate logistics, maintain asset records, and support day-to-day operations.
