Position Overview:
As an Emergency Care Intern, you will be at the forefront of delivering life-saving care to individuals in critical situations. This 12-month programme will equip you with invaluable training and hands-on experience under the guidance of seasoned professionals. By joining us, you will have the chance to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need of urgent medical attention.
Responsibilities: for Emergency Care Internship Programme
- Respond promptly to emergency incidents within the designated operational area.
- Coordinate and administer emergency medical treatments to patients.
- Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions and professional development activities.
- Assist with administrative tasks and documentation as required.

Requirements: Emergency Care Internship Programme
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Current and valid registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Basic Ambulance Assistant (BAA), Intermediate Life Support (ILS), Emergency Care Technician (ECT), or Emergency Care Assistant (ECA).
- Successful completion of a formal written test and interview.
- Valid South African identification document.
- Possession of a driver’s license (considered an added benefit).
