Role Overview
As an intern in the ABSA Home Loans & Collections divisions, you will gain practical experience and professional development while working in one of South Africa’s leading financial institutions. Key Responsibilities for ABSA Home Loans & Collections
Home Loans Internship:
- Assist in the mortgage loan application and approval process.
- Evaluate customer eligibility and analyze financial data.
- Support in mortgage underwriting and customer service tasks.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a seamless loan processing experience.
Collections Internship:
- Contact clients to manage and recover overdue payments.
- Negotiate repayment plans while maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Understand and apply legal frameworks governing debt recovery.
- Contribute to the development of strategies for effective debt collection.
Qualifications needed for ABSA Home Loans & Collections Internships
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
