About the iMasFinance Debt Recovery Learnership 2025 / 2026
iMasFinance Co-operative (Ltd), an authorised financial services provider, invites South African unemployed youth to apply for the Debt Recovery Learnership Programme for the 2025 / 2026 intake.
This 12-month learnership offers participants a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in debt recovery, financial services, and credit management. Learners will receive both theoretical and workplace training leading to an NQF Level 4 qualification.
The programme provides exposure to key areas such as collections, portfolio management, legal processes, and stakeholder engagement.
Programme Overview
- Duration: 12 months
- Monthly Allowance: R5,000
- Intake: Limited to 6 learners
- Start Date: November 2025
- Location: Centurion, Gauteng
Key Learning Areas
Participants will gain practical experience in:
- Securing payment commitments from members in arrears
- Managing correspondence and collection queries
- Recording member information and collection activities
- Administering repossessions and legal processes
- Liaising with valuators, tracers, sheriffs, and lien holders
- Supporting attorneys and debt collectors with portfolio management
- Maintaining professional client relationships and progress reports
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to qualify:
- Must have Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics and/or Accounting
- Must be unemployed and not currently studying
- Must be a previously disadvantaged youth
- Must be available to start in November 2025
