PART-TIME LECTURER POSITIONS AVAILABLE

  • 3 x Part-time Lecturers (19 hours per week)

The Faculty of Economics and Finance at Ga-Rankuwa Campus invites applications for part-time lecturer positions in Applied Languages and Communication Skills for Semester 1 of 2025. Lecturing duties include English Communication Skills and English for Academic Purposes, targeting First Year, Foundation, and Extended curriculum students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lectures in communication skills effectively, utilising innovative teaching methods and technology.
  • Develop and update learning materials.
  • Record and track assessment marks on the ITS system.
  • Support at-risk students and perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

TUT Part-Time Lecturers Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree (NQF Level 9) in English, Language Practice, Integrated Communication, or equivalent.
  • At least two years’ university teaching experience.
  • Proven practical knowledge of Academic and Occupational English teaching.

Please note that existing part-time staff holding a 19-hour appointment at TUT are not eligible.
