Position Purpose Transnet Quality Controller X 6 – RSE
Job Purpose
The main goal of the Quality Controller is to ensure that the company’s production processes and final products meet both the customer’s expectations and the ISO 9001:2015 quality standards. This role is crucial for maintaining product quality and implementing continuous improvement measures within the company.
To ensure that customer and business requirements align with ISO 9001:2015 standard requirements.
Position Outputs
- Conduct in-line inspections on all production processes.
- Ensure process conformance.
- Guarantee a quality end product that meets customer needs and expectations.
- Compile Non-Conformance Reports.
- Assist workshop staff on quality issues.
- Initiate new/improved production methods (continuous improvement).
- Provide input at contract review/product development.
- Verify corrective actions taken on non-conformance closures.
- Establish and maintain records of all inspected processes.
- Be prepared to work shifts.
Qualifications and Experience
- Must be a qualified Artisan (Mechanical/Electrical).
- Completion of all OBML modules 100%.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Artisan.
