Job Responsibilities
Key Duties of a Customer Services Clerk
- Perform pre-tests on allocated equipment to ensure full functionality.
- Ensure access to front-end systems and report technical issues to the Team Leader.
- Safely collect and manage card stock.
- Verify customer information before issuing cards and update systems as per SOP.
- Maintain accurate records of issued and transferred cards.
- Handle customer queries related to lost, damaged, or PIN reset cards.
- Return unused cards daily for safekeeping and accountability.
- Submit daily statistics and reports as per SOP.
- Assist in queue management, prioritizing elderly, disabled, and ill customers.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4).
- Post-matric qualification (minimum NQF Level 5) with at least 120 credits.
- National Diploma or Degree (NQF6) is an added advantage.
Experience & Skills
- Previous experience in a Customer Services or Cashier role is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
- Clean criminal record is essential.
