Utilities World, in collaboration with the municipality, is offering a unique opportunity to gain valuable skills and contribute to your community. We’re hiring field workers to assist in essential electricity meter audits and replacements. This is a chance to make a real difference while building a solid foundation for your career.

Positions Available:

  • Field Workers (3 per ward): Conduct meter audits, replacements, and data collection.
  • Electricians & Semi-Skilled Electricians: Specialised roles for those with electrical qualifications.

Requirements:

  • Metsimaholo Resident: Must reside within the municipality (specify your ward on the application).
  • Young & Motivated: Ages 18-35 are preferred.
  • Basic Skills: Grade 12/Matric, comfortable using mobile devices, good communication, and people skills.
  • Flexibility: Willing to work outside regular hours when needed.
  • Resourceful: Electricians need their own tools, and all field workers should be able to arrange their own transport (walking is also acceptable).
