Applicants must meet one of the following qualification routes:
A Option 1: Grade 12 (Matric)
- Mathematics: Minimum 50%
- Physical Science: Minimum 50%

B Option 2: N3 Certificate
- Mathematics: Minimum 50%
- Physical Science: Minimum 50%
- English: Minimum 40%
C Option 3: NCV Level 4
- Mathematics: Minimum 50%
- Physical Science: Minimum 50%
- English: Minimum 40%
