Requirements:
To be eligible for these positions, however you must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Grade 10 certificate
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in road work maintenance
- Licensing: Valid Code 10 driver’s license and a PDP
- Skills: Ability to operate machinery utilized by road maintenance teams
Key Responsibilities:
As a Foreman, your duties will include:
- Building culverts and side drains
- Erecting and maintaining steel guardrails and gabions
- Road earthworks, surfacing, and pothole patching
- Cleaning and maintaining roads, sidewalks, and rest areas
- Supervising roadwork activities by
- Conducting inspections
- Managing tools, supplies, and equipment
- Allocating tasks and monitoring team performance
