About the Eskom Learner Intern Non-Technical Programme
Eskom is offering 5 learner internship opportunities within its Contact Centre (LimLanga Cluster) for the 2025/2026 intake. This non-technical programme gives unemployed graduates structured training and workplace experience across administration, customer service, and support functions essential to Eskom’s service delivery.
Minimum Requirements
Qualification (NQF 6, 240 credits):
- Marketing
- Finance
- Commerce
- Engineering
- Social Science
- Business Management
- Customer Service
Other Requirements:
- South African citizen
- Unemployed graduates only
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong planning and organising ability
- Proficient computer literacy
- Good telephone etiquette
- Effective time management
- Ability to work under pressure and handle stress
Key Responsibilities
- Handling inbound customer interactions
- Managing back-office activities, including non-technical dispatch and follow-ups
- Participating in multi-media and outbound campaigns
- Providing customer interaction and service improvement support
- Assisting with marketing, sales, and customer service processes
- Supporting vending, prepaid, and Easypay services
