Position Summary:
As an Oracle Applications Database Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in managing, administering, and supporting our Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) application and associated technologies. Your expertise will ensure the smooth functioning of our critical systems, facilitating efficient operations and timely issue resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress, events, and technical decisions.
- Research and develop innovative solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Administer technical solutions ensuring sustainability and adherence to standards.
- Provide thought leadership to enhance industry best practices within the team.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Track tasks, identify risks, and ensure quality delivery within the team.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in Oracle EBS Apps Database Administration.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS Apps DBA (preferably R12.2) and Oracle core DBA.
- Relevant certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) are advantageous.

Additional Criteria:
- Proficiency in application administration, database administration, patching, upgrading, cloning, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Oracle Access Manager (OAM/OID) for Single Sign-On (SSO) capabilities.
- Proficiency in Oracle WebLogic Server Administration and Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL scripting skills.
- Experience in database security implementation and maintenance.
- Ability to log high-quality SRs with Oracle Support and ensure viable solutions.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
