Job Description
As a sales assistant at Studio 88, you will assist customers, manage sales transactions, restock merchandise, and maintain store standards. You will play a key role in ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in finding products and processing transactions
- Restock apparel and organize merchandise on the sales floor
- Maintain a clean and appealing store environment
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve queries
- Upsell and cross-sell products to boost sales
- Follow stock control procedures and conduct inventory checks
- Operate the Studio 88 point-of-sale (POS) system
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
- 1-2 years of retail or sales experience
- Previous experience in a clothing store is an advantage
- Ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Cash-handling and POS system experience
Skills Required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good fashion sense and product knowledge
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure
- Time management and customer relationship skills
- Basic visual merchandising knowledge
