Are you a recent graduate looking to gain valuable work experience in the Information Communication Technology (ICT) sector? The State Information Technology Agency (SITA) is excited to announce the SITA x151 Internship Programme 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for young South African citizens to develop their skills and potentially secure a permanent position in a leading government agency.
About the Programme
- Duration: 12 months
- Stipend: R 6,500 per month
- Location: Various provinces across South Africa
Eligibility Criteria
- Unemployed South African citizens aged between 18 and 35 years
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree or 3-year National Diploma in ICT or a related field (NQF level 6)
- No prior work experience required
- People living with disabilities, Whites, Coloureds, and Indians are encouraged to apply
Available Positions by Province
- Gauteng: 88 interns (Software Development, End-user Computing, Information Security, Business Analysis)
- Limpopo: 29 interns (Data Analysis, Business Analysis, System Support, System Development)
- KwaZulu-Natal: 14 interns (Server Engineering, Network Engineering, End-user Computing, Service Desk)
- Northern Cape: 11 interns (Data Science, Information Technology)
- North West: 5 interns (End-user Computing, Software Development, Business Analysis)
- Mpumalanga: 3 interns (End-user Computing)
- Eastern Cape: 1 intern (End-user Computing)
