Please note, SANRAL does NOT charge a fee for its Bursary and Scholarships application.
The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) is responsible for building and maintaining national roads across the country. In addition to our infrastructure projects, we offer a limited number of scholarship awards to support young learners in growing their skills and achieving success.

Eligibility
South African learners in grades 8 to 12 are invited to apply for these scholarships.
Application Period
- Open: 1 June 2024
- Close: 30 September 2024
What the SANRAL Scholarship Covers
- School Fees: Tuition fees are paid directly to the school once SANRAL receives the school fees statement.
- Boarding School Fees: Where applicable.
- Uniforms: School and sports uniforms.
- Books and Stationery: Necessary textbooks and stationery.
- Transport: Reputable school transport costs related to schooling.
- Extra Lessons: Additional lessons in Maths and Science.
- Registration Fees: Where applicable.
Award Details
A limited number of scholarships are available nationwide. The award covers tuition costs directly and other educational expenses within an annual budget cap.
