Vacancy: Receptionist/administrator

We are looking for a full- time receptionist/administrator to join our dynamic team for January 2025.

The successful candidate must possess the below:

General:

  • Applicants should preferably reside in Morningside, Johannesburg or surrounding areas, as the post will be for our Johannesburg branch.
  • Always behave in a professional manner.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Good communication, customer service and relationship-building skills

Duties and responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Answering calls, taking messages and handling correspondence
  • Maintaining diaries and arranging appointments
  • Typing, preparing and collating reports
  • Filing
  • Organizing and servicing meetings (producing agendas and taking minutes)
  • Managing databases
  • Prioritizing workloads
  • Implementing new procedures and administrative systems
  • Liaising with relevant organizations and clients
  • Logging or processing bills or expenses
  • Acting as a receptionist and or meeting and greeting clients
  • Maintaining vehicle fleet / keeping records of fuel cards and mileages
  • Tracking staff attendance and managing the employee leave file
  • Managing / ordering office supplies such a stationery / groceries etc
