PEP is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a part-time sales assistant at Polokwane Grobler. As a PEP Dynamo, you will have the opportunity to work up to a maximum of 27 hours per week, contributing to our dynamic and customer-focused environment.

As a part-time sales assistant at PEP, your role will involve promoting sales, minimizing stock losses, managing stock, serving customers, operating the till, and maintaining a low-cost culture to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Minimize stock loss through fostering a healthy store culture and adhering to security measures, stock, and cash handling procedures.
• Manage a low-cost business by implementing the company’s low-cost culture and driving efficiencies in the store.
• Handle cash transactions at the register according to company policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team at Dynamos.
• Maintain general health, safety, and housekeeping standards.
• Increase sales by prioritizing exceptional customer service, maintaining world-class store standards, presenting stock, managing stock, implementing promotions, and ensuring the correct pricing of products according to the price image guidelines.

Requirements:

• Matric qualification.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Clear criminal record.
• Preferences: Sales Assistant, Cashier experience; proficiency in Sepedi; reside within 15km from the job location; be computer literate; have a passion for retail; demonstrate integrity; be willing to go the extra mile; have the ability to plan and organize daily duties; be comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment; be willing to work retail hours; and be available during peak periods.
