Overview:

PEP is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Part-Time Sales Assistant in Elim, Limpopo. As a PEP Dynamo, you will be an essential part of our workforce, working up to a maximum of 27 hours per week.

Job Description:

As a part-time sales assistant at PEP, you will play a key role in promoting sales, minimizing stock losses, managing stock, serving customers, operating the till, and maintaining a low-cost culture. Our ideal candidate is a friendly team player with a passion for creating an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Minimize stock loss through a healthy store culture and adherence to security measures, stock, and cash handling procedures.
• Manage a low-cost business by driving efficiencies in the store according to the company’s culture.
• Handle cash at the cash register according to company policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with a dynamic team of Dynamos.
• Maintain general health, safety, and housekeeping standards.
• Increase sales through exceptional customer service, maintaining world-class store standards, stock presentation, promotional implementation, and accurate pricing.

Requirements:

• Matric qualification.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Clear criminal record.
• Previous experience as a Sales Assistant or Cashier is advantageous.
• Reside within a 15km radius from the job location.
• Computer literate.
• Passion for retail and commitment to delivering a world-class customer experience.
• Demonstrate integrity, a willingness to go the extra mile, and the ability to plan and organize daily duties.
• Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Willingness to work extended retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
