Key Responsibilities
- Participate in NQF 2 unit standards plant operations training
- Load and offload bags and raw materials safely
- Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness in the plant area
- Operate chemical production machinery under supervision
- Monitor and document production processes according to standard operating procedures
- Perform process operations independently after competency declaration
- Work safely at heights and in confined spaces
- Train to drive a forklift
- Work shifts and perform overtime duties when required
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Chemical Production Machine Operator learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics and Science is mandatory
- Basic computer literacy
- Medically fit to work in a chemical environment
- Willingness to learn and perform physically demanding tasks
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
