About the Netcare Receptionist Role
As a Netcare receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. The role demands strong interpersonal communication and administrative skills. You’ll be responsible for handling admissions, queries, billing, and switchboard operations in line with Netcare’s core values: CARE, TRUTH, PARTICIPATION, COMPASSION, and DIGNITY.
Successful candidates will work within the Medicross Healthcare Group, known for its patient-focused approach to primary healthcare and professional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle patient admissions and related enquiries
- Provide outstanding, person-centred customer service
- Manage administrative tasks, billing, and payment points
- Operate the clinic’s switchboard and direct calls professionally
- Maintain a high standard of grooming and ethical conduct
- Live Netcare’s values and seven service behaviours daily
Inherent Requirements
- Matric (NQF Level 4) or equivalent
- Higher Certificate (NQF Level 5) preferred
- 1–2 years of receptionist experience in a hospital or clinic environment
- Intermediate computer literacy (MS Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Familiarity with medical schemes and billing procedures
