Netcare Education offers a variety of training programs, including short courses and diploma programs. Netcare Education is a private higher education institution that offers training in first aid, nursing, and other medical fields.
The Netcare Education also offers a special unit allowance for registered nurses (RNs) and enrolled nurses (ENs) who have a Netcare Education 6 month In-service certificate and work in the field for which they received the certificate. The special unit allowance applies to the following units: ICU, NNICU, Recovery, and High Care.
Netcare has also partnered with HWSETA to offer internships with stipends. For example, in 2019, HWSETA funded a 12-month Debtors Controller Intern position at Netcare Head Office with a stipend of R5,000 per month.

Requirements for the Netcare Education Nursing Programme:
- ABET Level 4, or
- Grade 10, 11, or 12
- South African citizen
- Must be unemployed and eager to pursue a nursing career
- Good communication and willingness to learn
