Responsibilities
- Control people, vehicles, and materials at access and egress points.
- Identify all persons entering or leaving Necsa premises using the access control system.
- Prevent unauthorised entry or removal of persons, vehicles, or goods.
- Conduct security patrols, inspections, and report any irregularities.
- Escort authorised persons, vehicles, and goods as required.
- Identify and respond to emergencies or assist in evacuation drills.
- Handle firearms safely according to Necsa’s procedures.
Key Requirements

| Qualification | Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 |
| Certification | PSIRA Grade C or higher; NKP Certificate of Competency |
| Firearm Competency | Valid SAPS firearm competency for all NKP-specified types |
| Experience | 2–3 years in general security (National Key Point experience advantageous) |
| Driver’s Licence | Code B or higher |
| Age Range | 18 – 35 years |
| Other | Must meet vetting requirements (no criminal record) and be physically fit |
