Role description for National Wholesale voltex
The key tasks & responsibilities for this position are to:
- Assist in handling stock received by ensuring that received items are properly handled and stored
- Count each item to ensure number compliance with work orders
- Isolate any discrepancies in payments and transactions and address them with management
- Assist in pulling out orders and checking them against order list
- Compare work orders with actual items to ensure that proper items and quantities has been pulled
- Provide support in packing items and transporting to delivery area
- Check transactions against payments received and ensure that they tally
- Create and maintain counter checking reports and inform supervisors of any outstanding issued regarding missing items or unclear transactions
- Monitor unauthorised stock movement
Role requirement for National Wholesale voltex
The key educational requirements and experience for this position would be:
- A valid matric certificate is a MUST
- Minimum 2 years work experience in a stores / warehouse environment is ESSENTIAL
- Knowledge of computer software packages and MS Office
- Knowledge of the k8 system is an ADVANTAGE
- Good product knowledge
The desired skills and competencies required for this position amongst others would be:
- Have good communication skills both written and verbal
- Proven attendance track record
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tender deadlines are met
- Work under minimal supervision occasionally to meet objectives and key performance areas
- Meticulous and highly accurate with calculations
- Ability to multitask and co-ordinate workflow in a highly stressful environment with existing team to achieve objectives
- Articulate, presentable, and professional always
