The Mpumalanga Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison invites applications for the Basic Traffic Officers Diploma Learnership Programme 2025–2026. This 12-month training opportunity offers unemployed youth in Mpumalanga a chance to gain valuable knowledge and skills in Traffic Law Enforcement while earning a monthly stipend.

About the Mpumalanga Basic Traffic Officer Learnership

The learnership aims to equip young South Africans with practical experience and qualifications to pursue a career in Traffic Management. Upon successful completion, learners will receive a Diploma in Basic Traffic Officer (NQF Level 4).

Contract Duration: 12 months
Stipend: R5 000 per month
Training Venue: Mpumalanga Traffic Training College, Mkhuhlu (Calcutta), Bushbuckridge Local Municipality
