About Metropolitan Learnership 2025

This Metropolitan Learnership Programme offers unemployed youth the chance to gain workplace experience, learn from industry experts, and earn an NQF Level 4 Wealth Management qualification.

Metropolitan Learnership 2025 Purpose

The programme is designed for young people who are passionate about sales and customer service and want to grow a career in the financial services sector. Learners will gain valuable industry exposure while building a strong foundation for future employment.

Requirements

To apply for the Metropolitan Learnership in Eastern Cape, you must:

  • Have a Grade 12 or equivalent NQF 4 qualification.
  • Be between the ages of 18 and 35.
  • Be a South African citizen by birth.
  • Be currently unemployed.
  • Belong to a previously disadvantaged group.
  • Candidates with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities

Learners will:

  • Complete all theoretical learning modules and assessments.
  • Handle administrative tasks and reporting duties on time.
  • Compile, collate, and distribute documents to required standards.
  • Assist clients professionally and ensure queries are resolved.
  • Route and track queries with relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards in the workplace.

Key Competencies

The programme seeks candidates with:

  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Numerical reasoning and analytical abilities.
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • Stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Basic computer literacy.
