Overview
Letaba TVET College, in collaboration with AgriSETA, has launched the Artisan Recognition of Prior Learning (ARPL) Programme 2025, offering 170 funded opportunities to skilled workers across Limpopo. This initiative allows experienced tradespeople to gain formal artisan recognition and advance their careers in South Africa’s technical and industrial sectors.
Available Trades
Participants will be assessed and certified in five key trades critical to infrastructure and community development:
- Plumbers
- Bricklayers
- Carpenters
- Electricians
- Motor Mechanics
These trades play a vital role in sustaining South Africa’s growing infrastructure and employment landscape.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria to qualify for the Letaba TVET College ARPL Programme 2025:
- Education: Minimum of Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience: At least three years of relevant trade experience, verified by a service letter from a previous employer.
- Eligibility: Applicants must not have previously joined a learnership, apprenticeship, or skills programme.
- Preference: Priority will be given to former Letaba TVET College students.
