Role Overview
The General Sales Assistant will support daily e-commerce fulfillment operations, inventory management, and customer service processes. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who thrives in a dynamic online retail environment and is committed to providing a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with order fulfillment: picking, packing, and preparing items for dispatch
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock updates
- Handle customer returns, exchanges, and refunds with accurate documentation
- Keep the stock area neat, organized, and fully operational
- Collaborate with customer service to implement feedback into operational improvements
- Ensure reliable attendance and punctuality in line with the company’s retail standards
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Senior Certificate)
- 1–2 years of experience in retail sales (fashion retail experience is advantageous)
- Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems and transaction processing
- Previous experience in stock control, restocking, and organizing merchandise
- Comfortable with customer-facing responsibilities in a retail environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Fashion product knowledge (brands, sizing, current trends)
- Good time management and teamwork capabilities
- Basic computer literacy and understanding of inventory systems
