Field Survey Assistants Positions Available

Salary Range: R138,960 – R158,220 per annum (excluding benefits such as bonuses, housing subsidy, pension fund, medical aid, and car allowance)

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Geography as passed subjects.

Key Responsibilities: Field Survey Assistants Positions Available

  • Prepare and load survey instruments, pegs, and profiles.
  • Clean survey instruments to ensure accuracy.
  • Place prisms accurately over survey points.
  • Hold staves and ranging rods precisely.
  • Tape distances accurately on ground level and within trenches up to 4 meters deep.
  • Clear vegetation for better visibility during survey activities.
  • Install ground and trench pegs and profiles (Profile hammer weighing +20 kg).
  • Open survey pegs using shovels and picks.
  • Maintain cleanliness of catch pits and manholes during survey work.
  • Open manholes and catch pits for depth measurements (depths may reach up to 6 meters, with lids weighing approximately 20 to 30 kg and requiring careful handling).
