As an Airport Services Agent, you will be responsible for assisting Emirates and code-share passengers at various touchpoints in the airport, including check-in, boarding, baggage services, and special services.

Job Description
The Airport Services Agent plays a crucial role in delivering a seamless and enjoyable travel experience for Emirates passengers. The primary responsibilities include handling passenger check-ins, boarding processes, arrival services, baggage handling, and visa-related matters.
The role requires an individual who can work under pressure, demonstrate problem-solving skills, and uphold Emirates’ safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & General Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service to passengers and airport stakeholders.
- Greet passengers warmly and assist them with their travel needs.
- Maintain professional grooming and presentation standards as per Emirates’ policies.
- Respond to passenger queries and concerns efficiently to maintain Emirates’ strong reputation.
- Work closely with colleagues, supervisors, and airport partners to ensure smooth operations.
Check-in & Boarding Operations
- Process passenger check-ins efficiently while following airline and airport security procedures.
- Assist special category passengers such as unaccompanied minors, disabled travelers, and VIPs.
- Ensure compliance with travel, immigration, and safety regulations.
- Proactively assist passengers in managing queues and answering inquiries at check-in counters.
- Oversee the boarding process to ensure flights depart on time and without issues.
- Keep passengers informed about flight delays, gate changes, or service disruptions.
- Assist connecting passengers at transfer desks to ensure smooth transitions.
Baggage Services
- Help passengers with delayed, damaged, or missing baggage concerns.
- File and manage Property Irregularity Reports (PIRs) for lost luggage.
- Work with baggage services teams to track and expedite short-shipped and rush baggage.
- Maintain accurate updates in Emirates’ baggage tracking system.
- Address passenger inquiries related to baggage claims and compensation policies.
- Coordinate with ground handling staff to ensure passenger concerns are resolved quickly.
Premium Passenger Services
- Deliver exceptional service to First Class and Business Class passengers.
- Assist premium travelers with lounge access, special requests, and boarding.
- Offer personalized service using customer insights and history.
- Handle special arrangements for VIP guests, high-value customers, and corporate clients.
- Support administrative duties related to premium passenger management.
Ideal Candidate
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 12 years of schooling (Matric or equivalent).
- At least 2 years of experience in airport operations, airline customer service, or hospitality.
- Previous experience in baggage and passenger handling within an airline is preferred.
Required Skills & Attributes
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently.
- Comfortable with working flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Role Responsibilities
- Ensure strict adherence to Emirates’ operational, security, and safety standards.
- Assist passengers at check-in, boarding gates, and baggage claim areas.
- Respond to baggage handling concerns, including lost and delayed baggage claims.
- Maintain seamless communication with airport partners, ground staff, and operations teams.
- Provide assistance to passengers with disabilities, unaccompanied minors, and other special requests.
- Enhance the experience of premium passengers by offering high-quality service.
- Adapt to different roles as required to support operational needs.
