The Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) is pleased to open applications for its General Internship Programme for 2025-2027. This is an exciting chance for unemployed South African graduates eager to acquire hands-on experience in international relations. DIRCO is looking for highly motivated and skilled individuals who have a passion for diplomacy and a dedication to public service.
Location: OR Tambo Building, Pretoria, South Africa
Stipend: R7,450.63 per month

Key Responsibilities: DIRCO x15 General Internship Programme
- Conduct research and analysis on topics related to international relations.
- Assist in the preparation of briefing documents and reports.
- Attend and contribute to meetings and conferences.
- Support the development and execution of DIRCO initiatives.
- Provide administrative and logistical assistance across various departments.
Eligibility and Qualifications:
- South African citizen aged between 18 and 35 years.
- Minimum NQF level 7 qualification (Bachelor’s degree) in one of the following areas:
- Tourism & Hospitality Management
- Supply Chain Management
- Records Management/Information Science
- Graphic Design & Communications
- Human Resource Management
- Public Administration
