Available Positions:

1. Specialist Cyber Security Engineer

  • Ref No: HRMC 11/25/1 (x2 Posts)
  • Salary: R849,702 – R1,000,908 per annum (Level 11)
  • Location: Head Office, Tshwane

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Information Technology or related field at NQF level 6.
  • 5 years’ experience in IS Security or Cyber Security.
  • Expertise in Cyber Security frameworks, GITO, and IT Security certifications (CISSP, CEH).
  • Knowledge of various security frameworks (PAIA, POPIA, ISO17799, etc.).
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Duties:

  • Analyze and identify threats, coordinate Cyber-Security monitoring, and incident responses.
  • Develop and implement security strategies for DHA’s data and systems.
  • Provide consulting services on security protocols and best practices.

2. Deputy Director: Information Systems Audit

  • Ref No: HRMC 11/25/2
  • Salary: R849,702 – R1,000,908 per annum (Level 11)
  • Location: Head Office, Tshwane

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, IT, or Internal Audit at NQF level 6.
  • 3 years’ supervisory experience in an IS auditing environment.
  • Knowledge of public service and departmental legislative frameworks, including PFMA and POPIA.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Duties:

  • Manage execution of the information systems audit plan.
  • Develop and implement audit strategies, objectives, and policies.
  • Supervise staff and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulations.

3. Deputy Director: Security Systems

  • Salary: R849,702 – R1,000,908 per annum (Level 11)
  • Location: Head Office, Tshwane

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Electronic Systems Engineering Technology at NQF level 6.
  • 3 years’ management experience in electronic security systems.
  • Knowledge of security risk assessments and electronic security platforms.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Duties:

  • Identify and implement security system technologies.
  • Maintain and protect security systems across DHA facilities.
  • Provide advice on security technology and systems, ensuring proper risk analysis and mitigation.

4. Office Manager

  • Salary: R849,702 – R1,000,908 per annum (Level 11)
  • Location: Head Office, Tshwane

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Office Management or Business Administration at NQF level 6.
  • 3 years’ experience in a finance environment at a junior management level.
  • Strong knowledge of office administration, document management, and public service frameworks.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Duties:

  • Manage reports, strategic planning documents, and key engagements for the Branch.
  • Coordinate financial planning, performance reports, and administrative tasks.
  • Ensure smooth office operations, liaising with stakeholders and managing office supplies.
