1. Principal Psychologist Grade 1

• Salary: R1,180,629 per annum (All-inclusive package)
• Location: National Head Office

Requirements:

• HPCSA registration as a Clinical, Counselling, Educational, Industrial, or Research Psychologist.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Clinical Psychologist post-registration.
• Knowledge of mental health legislation, correctional services, and the Public Service Act.

Duties:

• Develop and implement psychological programs.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of psychological services.
• Supervise and mentor psychologists within the regions.

2. Deputy Manager Nursing

• Ref No: FSNC 2025/04/01
• Salary: R974,493 per annum (All-inclusive package)
• Location: Free State and Northern Cape Region, Kimberley

Requirements:

• Degree/diploma in Nursing, registered with SANC as a Professional Nurse.
• Minimum of 9 years’ nursing experience, with at least 4 years in management.
• Knowledge of healthcare legislation and public service frameworks.

Duties:

• Manage and evaluate Primary Health Care services for inmates.
• Supervise the provision of quality comprehensive health care.
• Oversee the implementation of nursing policies and standards.

3. Medical Officer Grade 1

• Ref No: EC 2025/04/01 (Eastern Cape Region, Mthatha)
• Salary: R949,146 per annum (All-inclusive package)
• Location: Eastern Cape, Mthatha

Requirements:

• Matric/Grade 12 and recognized MBChB degree.
• Registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Health Professional Council of South Africa.
• Public health experience is advantageous.

Duties:

• Provide medical services to offenders.
• Ensure compliance with medical practice standards.
• Perform medical procedures and emergency care as required.

4. Social Work Manager Grade 1

• Ref No: GP 2025/04/01
• Salary: R920,082 per annum (All-inclusive package)
• Location: Gauteng Region, Johannesburg

Requirements:

• BA degree in Social Work with 10 years of experience.
• Current registration with the South African Council for Social Services Profession.
• Experience in policy development, social work intervention, and case management.

Duties:

• Provide social work services to offenders.
• Guide and mentor senior social workers.
• Develop and implement social work programs.
