Duration: 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Temporary)

Stipend: R40,081.00 per month (inclusive of UIF)

Job Description: Compliance Assistant PYEI

Are you a young, driven individual with a passion for ensuring compliance and contributing to youth empowerment? The Limpopo Department of Education is seeking 30 Compliance Assistants to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in the successful implementation of the Presidential Youth Empowerment Initiative (PYEI).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain meticulous records related to the PYEI project.
  • Audit the transfer of funds and payroll for appointed EAs and GSAs.
  • Consolidate data on appointed personnel using MS Excel.
  • Generate monthly reports based on school-level information.
  • Support Circuit Managers in PYEI implementation and monitoring.
  • Organize and manage compliance documents (appointments, contracts, etc.).
  • Identify and mitigate risks.
  • Participate in training on the PYEI Data Management System (DMS).

Minimum Requirements:

  • Age between 19 and 35.
  • National Diploma in Auditing, Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, or a related field. A BCom in Accounting is advantageous.
