Requirements

• Three-year qualification in Labour Relations, BCOM Law, or LLB
• Valid driver’s licence
• Knowledge of Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Labour Relations Act, Employment Equity Act, Skills Development Act, Unemployment Insurance Act, and Batho Pele principles
• Skills in facilitation, planning, computer literacy, problem-solving, interviewing, analytical thinking, and communication

Key Duties

• Conduct occupational inspections to ensure compliance with labour legislation
• Investigate reported cases and enforce labour laws when necessary
• Conduct proactive inspections (Blitz inspections) and advocacy campaigns
• Assist in drafting inspection plans, reports, and statistics on allocated cases
