RAF Claims Officer Responsibilities:
Successful candidates will support the RAF’s legal claims processes by:
- Conducting assessments of litigated files and settling claims related to loss of earnings, medical costs, general damages, and funeral expenses.
- Liaising with RAF Attorneys to prepare for trial and assisting in the evaluation of medico-legal reports.
- Managing writ assessments, loading court orders, and contributing to cost-effective claim resolutions.
- Supporting litigation strategies and ensuring RAF’s legal processes adhere to internal policies and court regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements For RAF Claims Officer:
- A four-year Degree in Law or equivalent.
- Admission as an Attorney of the High Court or Advocate.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in claims or litigation.
- Solid understanding of court rules, legal documentation, and RAF litigation infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent communication skills.
