Job Requirements (Independent Member of ICT Steering Committee):
- Postgraduate degree in ICT or equivalent qualification
- Master’s degree in ICT and membership with a relevant professional body (advantageous)
- Minimum 3 years of experience serving on an ICT Steering Committee or Audit Committee in the public sector
- 5 years of management experience at a Senior level related to ICT
- Proven knowledge of King IV Report on Corporate Governance and relevant government regulations
- Excellent communication skills
Job Duties (Independent Member of ICT Steering Committee):
- Provide oversight on various aspects of ICT management in the DBE
- Monitor implementation of ICT strategies and plans
- Oversee ICT security and risk management
- atleast 4 committee meetings per year
Additional Information:
- Shortlisted candidates required to attend a technical exercise and a competency assessment.
- Successful candidates will be subject to security clearance.
